Guillaume Berthelot, French sculptor, was born and died in Paris in circa1570-1648. His artistic formation took place mostly in Rome in the circle of D.Fontana. Among his Roman works should be noticed: Madonna col Bambino located on the top of the column in Piazza S.Maria Maggiore. After 1619 he worked in Paris at service of Maria de'Medici and of cardinal Richelieu.
