The modest facade was created after the part of the nave was cut due to the construction of Via 24 Maggio in 1877. The double staircase leads to the entrance. Interior is on a Latin-cross plan and has only one nave with the side chapels. The painting decorations were executed by C.d'Arpino, M.Venusti, C.Nebbia. The funeral monument of cardinal Cornaro is by D.Fontana (1591). In the left transept is an ample Cappella Bandini by O.Mascherino (1585) with a dome, frescoes by Domenichino (1628) and statues by A.Algardi and F.Mochi. The decoration of long presbytery is also very rich.
