Nicola Cordier, named Franciosino, Italian sculptor, was born in Lorena in 1567 and died in Rome in 1612. He led most of his activity in Rome, worked in Cappella Aldobrandini in the church S.Maria sopra Minerva and in Cappella Paolina in S.Maria Maggiore. He was also an estimated restorer of ancient sculptures.
