Girolamo Danti, Italian painter, was born in Perugia in 1547 and died in 1580; a son of Giulio Danti who was a founder of this artistic family. Girolamo was an average artist and collaborated with his brother Egnazio on the execution of geographic maps: a famous cycle in Vatican where hi frescoed the Gallery of Maps.
