Designed in 1936 for the 1942 Universal Exhibition which, owing to the outbreak of World War II never took place, EUR is the work of a group of experienced and famous architects of the time such as Giuseppe Pagano, Marcello Piacentini, Luigi Piccinato, Ettore Rossi and Luigi Vietti.

Your visit will then include the Museum of Roman Civilization famous for its fascinating and rich collection of models reproducing monuments and sites of ancient Rome in miniature.
