"Palazzo Mignanelli (Valentino), Rome" submitted by RomeTour Editorial Team and last updated on Friday 29th April 2011
It is a palace attached to the hill and located right in front of the Colonna dell'Immacolata on the little Piazza Mignanelli. It was built for the Mignanelli family, industrials from Siena, who possessed numerous constructions on Via Due Macelli and had their activity here. The palace is now popularly called Palazzo di Valentino, as it belongs to the world famous fashion stylist (on the facade could be seen a big "V").
If you can afford the high prices in this swank emporium, you'll be the most fashionable man in town. Valentino's women's haute couture is sold around the corner in an even bigger showroom at Via Bocca di Leone.
