Giovan Battista Parodi, Italian painter, was born in Genoa in 1674 and died in Milan in 1730. He was specialized in large fresco decorations and his most important works are: the vault of the Chiesa di S.Pietro in Vincoli (Rome) and of the Chiesa di S.Maria Maddalena (Genoa); Rape of Proserpine (Palazzo Mazzoleni, Bergamo).
