Filippo Rusuti, Italian painter, was active in Rome in the 13th-14th centuries. He is an author of the mosaics in the higher register of the ancient facade of the basilica di S.Maria Maggiore (1318-1319) with Christ in throne with angels and symbols of Evangelists and with Stories about the Miraculous fall of snow. To him are attributed some parts of the frescoes with the History of Genesis in the Basilica Superiore di Assisi.
